Job summary
The Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning day-to-day inspections, repairs, and shutdowns of plant equipment in a PSM governed plant.They provide planning support for less defined work, using their experience in planning techniques to effectively control costs and add value to maintenance activities.This is a hands-on self-starter position that requires limited supervision.

Responsibilities
• Lead by example in all GE initiatives and ensure safety and quality are the primary focus.• Utilize CMMS Maximo to manage work order backlog and ensure accurate data.• Develop and implement maintenance job plans to execute jobs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.• Participate in planning meetings and develop maintenance plans for multiple departments.• Plan and requisition work activities with vendors and service contractors.• Create and maintain libraries of job plans for preventative, predictive, and improvement maintenance activities.• Use craft feedback to improve job plans and make recommendations for improving plant operations.• Manage spare parts and materials in storerooms and warehouse.• Network and attend training to stay current on industry trends.• Order maintenance parts and materials and track inventories in Maximo.• Obtain proposals from suppliers/vendors and create requisitions for spare parts and services.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience• 5+ years of relevant maintenance planning experience• Experience with CMMS Maximo is preferred• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment• Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations• Ability to plan mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation repairs• Excellent communication and technical writing skills• Knowledge of building management and utility systems• Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills
