Responsibilities
• Read, interpret and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine component parts and assembly sequence• Assemble components, and position, align, crimp, terminate and fasten components by using a variety of tools and equipment• Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly• Test assembled parts to ensure functionality• Setup, build and test large wire harness assemblies• Ability to run equipment such as braiding, crimping, wire cutting etc• Ensure all work performed meets or exceeds quality specifications• Ability to be flexible to work in many areas and standing up to 100% of the time• Adhere to all Company policies• Follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety programs
Requirements
• Ability to clearly understand verbal and written instructions and drawings• Good vision and finger dexterity• Good employment history• Desire to be a team player• Self-motivated to drive continuous improvement• Hand crimping• One to two years of preparing wires and components for harnessing, soldering, and distribution• Ability to build large complex wire harnesses• Experience/Ability to read prints• Terminal Press Operation
