Georgia-Pacific is hiring an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician in Tacoma, WA.Looking for a job with opportunities for advancement and job stability.Salary: $42.13 - $48.45 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities
• Thorough understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.• Executing preventative and corrective maintenance work orders.• Assisting in improving PM procedures and processes.• Troubleshooting, calibrating, replacing, and installing instrumentation components.• Troubleshooting, replacing, and installing electrical components.• Ensuring all electrical and instrumentation work meets established codes and standards.• Responding to, troubleshooting, and diagnosing emergencies or breakdowns with production equipment.• Training and continuous development of knowledge in PLC programming and software.
Requirements
• Three (3) years of electrical and/or instrumentation experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.• Experience troubleshooting PLC's and working with electrical systems up to 480V, 3 Phase.• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical/instrumentation equipment.• Experience installing and maintaining equipment with adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC).• Five (5) years or more of industrial experience in the electrical and instrumentation field.• Two (2) year degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Industrial Technology.• Washington State Electrical License (EL01 or EL07) or equivalent work experience.• Experience working with variable frequency drives and servo drives.• Experience working with pneumatic systems.• Experience with systems integration (PLC, HMI, Instrumentation, Networking, Communication, and Power Distribution).
