Electrical Estimator

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The Electrical Estimator will provide pricing on commercial electrical projects and will assist the Project Manager with ensuring the project is completed on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities: Gather and interpret detailed electrical information and specifications for each project. Prepare cost estimates, including material costs, labor costs, and overhead costs. Analyze plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate and timely estimates. Negotiate subcontractor pricing and manage subcontractor relationships. Provide suggestions for value engineering and cost savings. Prepare and present formal proposals to clients. Work with the Project Manager to develop budgets and monitor project expenses. Provide reports on project estimates and cost tracking. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial construction industry. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components. Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with estimating software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
