Responsibilities
• Complete all aspects of electrical estimating• Construct comprehensive estimates from start to finish• Collaborate with senior estimator to streamline bidding process• Assist in contract negotiations and review processes• Review estimate with sales personnel and project managers• Participate in development of budgets and schedule of values
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial construction• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word• Previous experience with estimating software• Ability to interpret plans and technical documents• Strong multitasking skills• Effective communication skills• In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
