The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. The Electrical Estimator will also be responsible for meeting with vendors, researching components, and analyzing bid documents. The Estimator will provide detailed cost estimates for electrical projects and advise owners and contractors on cost-effective methods of completing projects.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze and review bid documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Meet with vendors and suppliers to discuss project requirements and pricing. Research and identify components and equipment to be included in electrical projects. Calculate costs for project completion and advise owners and contractors on cost-effective methods. Prepare detailed cost estimates and provide feedback on project progress. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of experience in electrical estimating, or related field. Proficiency in computer programs related to electrical estimating. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and multitask. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
