Here, you'll have opportunities to learn and lead at a leading company, and you can channel your skills towards causes that you and the Zebra community care about, locally, and globally.Together, we've only begun to define the edge of what's possible—for our people, our customers, and the world.In this role, you will design, develop, and productize mobile computing devices using the latest generation chipsets from Qualcomm, Intel, etc. This will require digital and analoge circut design expertise, power management experience in a highly cross-functional and dynamic working envirnonment. Location will be based onsite (Hybrid) in Holtsville, NYNo visa sponsorship for this role.Responsibilities:Lead portion of the end to end design process taking from concept to productionWork with partners in China, Taiwain, etc.Create and maintain documentation and test procedures May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modificationsAnalyze designs to designate necessary equipment to collect dataEvaluate and synthesize experimental tests and their resultsFocus on manipulation and usage of electricity within a function of an engineered processEstablish requirements for highly electrical design projectsExercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining resultsWork with cross-functional teamQualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 4+ year experience or Masters degree and 2+ year experienceExperience with embedded microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture (CAD). Experience with Digital circuit theory and designExperience with Analog circuit theory and designPreferred Qualifications:Advanced level of understanding of the electrical engineering disciplineAdvanced level of knowledge of electrical componentsStrong understanding of sustainable design practicesExperience with board level bring-up and testing with oscilloscope, bench power supplies, digital multimeter etc. Experience designing and validating power electronicsKnowledge of HDI PBC layoutKnowledge and experience with common embedded communication protocols: DDR, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, RS232, etc.Manufacturing customer electronics experienceExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageAbility to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentZebra is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, national origin, disability and protected veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law.
