Summary:
This position will provide engineering services to a broadrange of customer sponsored projects within the Global Security organizationand focus on one of the following key technology areas.
* Electronic and Electrical Reverse Engineering
* Electrical Design, Fabrication, and Assembly of CustomElectronic Products
* Microelectronic Design, Fabrication, and Assembly
* Pulsed Power Electronic Applications
* Radio Frequency Applications
* System Engineering and Integration
* Verification and Validation, Electrical and EnvironmentalTesting, and Analysis
This position will perform the following duties in support ofkey technology areas.
* Executes product design and development through all phasesof the product lifecycle from conception to production sustainment
* Conducts research into new technologies and processes
* Designs electrical products, components, tools, andacceptance equipment to meet specific requirements
* Creates robust technical data packages from design concepts(schematics, drawings, specifications, etc.)
* Performs and analyzes routine to moderately complexengineering functions, applying mathematical, physical science, and engineeringtechnologies
* Follows established procedures in completing multipletechnical assignments
* Develops test plans and procedures, performs routine tomoderately complex engineering evaluation tests, product and process capabilitystudies, quality audits, product or project data reviews, and other engineeringevaluation work to assure product design and manufacturability
* Interacts with customers, design agencies, suppliers, andinternal organizations to assist in resolving design, development, production,and acceptance issues
* Evaluates opportunities for defect prevention based onstandard or accepted technical practices and implements preventive correctiveactions
* Partners with technicians and other engineers to mentor andsolve complex problems with novel solutions
* Uses Agile methodology in executing work scope.
