As a Project Engineer, your role would include, but may not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Should exemplify safe work practices and follow the company's compliance standards. Frequently coordinates with other internal departments including; Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Project Controls, Customer Account Managers, Customer Deliverability, Meter Technology Center, Warehousing, Gas Control and others.Provides planning, design, construction support, and maintenance support of electrical power, instrumentation and control systems located at Natural Gas facilities and ancillary support process for all utility operations. Provides engineering services with accuracy, integrating all applicable governmental and company laws, standards and procedures on time and under budget. Uses computer assisted engineering, design, and drafting software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. Understands and follows company established standard procedures for file structure and standard drawing procedures for projects Becomes familiar with plans and specifications, maps, and related material for each project and be able to utilize the information appropriately. Utilizes effective oral and written communication skills to provide technical expertise to coworkers, clients, customers, government entities and the public. Public involvement may include producing reports, graphics, presentations, and other visual material as well as occasional speaking or meeting with stakeholders. Attends internal and external meetings. Provide all engineering services in a legal and ethical manner. Serves as onsite project representative. Reviews operating and construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the design documents.Experience:The Engineer role requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of his/her field and related sciences and disciplines. Knowledge and/or experience in utility operationsKnowledge and/or experience with National Electrical Code/NFPA 70 and Electrical System Design/InstallationAbility to solve complex problems; taking new perspectives using existing solutionsExcellent communication skillsSkills to lead, problem solve, and work well in a team environment. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) degree from an ABET accredited programOR Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with 4 years of relevant experience
