One of my best clients is seeking an Electrical Construction Superintendent (Industrial Electric) to join their team. With a unique work schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects in Kansas until November, and then transition to Mississippi. They have projects lined up for the next 3 years and beyond! Your home location within the USA is flexible. This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise electrical construction teams to ensure efficient project execution.
Coordinate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to procure materials and equipment.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address concerns.
Assist in figuring out conduit and wire runs to new and existing equipment.
Supervise electricians, providing guidance and support as needed.
Provide timeline updates and ensure project milestones are met.
Order materials and equipment in a timely manner to support project requirements.
Jump in and perform electrical work as needed to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in conduit and wire run design.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
