Job Title: Electrical Product Assembler 
Location: Waukesha, WI  
Type: 3rd  Shift, Full Time, Direct Hire  
Pay: $28.45/hour   Job Summary:  
The electrical product assembler position is situated within our final assembly department. This role entails connecting internal assembly components to external ones and installing additional external components such as bushings and radiators. Employees in this role are required to develop skills in Tank Equipment, Wiring, Conduit, Drop-In, and Encasement. Additionally, they may be tasked with performing repairs on units, parts, or incoming materials. Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Receive assignments and instructions from supervisors, both verbal and written. Follow drawings, Bill of Materials, and other established manufacturing procedures. Coordinate and communicate with supervision and team leads.
- Read and understand schedules and workflow requirements.
- Obtain materials from storage areas and complete kits with hardware and parts.
- Read and comprehend guidelines outlined in Engineering Instructions and Manufacturing Procedures.
- Interpret blueprints and assemble components according to provided drawings and established standards.
- Inspect assemblies, products, processes, and materials to ensure conformance to design criteria, applicable specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tools, equipment, and work area. Visually inspect equipment to ensure it is in normal operating condition.
- Verify lifts and cranes before use (crane cable & limit switches).
- Perform minor equipment repairs and machine maintenance.
- Accurately utilize the shop floor labor collection system. Punch in and out of operations appropriately for all types of work (direct labor, indirect labor, rework, etc.).
- Generate maintenance work orders for damaged tooling and equipment when necessary.
- Utilize computer systems to review procedures, drawings, non-conformances, etc.
- Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Utilize various tools and machinery including wire crimpers, heat guns, air pallets, punches, sanders, band saws, grinders, stud welders, pipe threaders, shears, drills, welders, plasma cutters, and related equipment.
- Work with materials such as tanks, covers, current transformers, tap changers, gear assemblies, oil gauges, pressure gauges, cabinets, housings, bushings, operating mechanisms, finished transformers, flanges, lightning arrestors, wood, steel rod, nitrogen, and others.
- Often work at heights up to 15' or more.
- Perform tasks that vary from working at ground level to working in, on top of, and around the sides of the transformer tank.
- Concentrate mentally and visually to ensure compliance with engineering and quality specifications.
- Demonstrate hand-eye coordination to make adequate welds meeting various welding specifications for in-plant certification, if welding.
- Access and work in confined spaces, including 18-24" manhole access. Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of previous assembly experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Pay Details: $28.45 per hour
