Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 (Plus Bonus based on performance)
THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE Based in Sartell we are a manufacturer of industrial valves and actuators for municipal and industrial markets including water, waster water, power, mining, paper, chemical, petroleum and petrochemical application. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a EHS Manager that possesses strong experience with EHS in construction with a CSP (desired)
Responsibilities: Establish policies and procedures for preventing common safety and health risks that are present in the organization's activities after analyzing and identifying them. Identify applicable regulatory requirements and establish procedures for their implementation. Maintaining environmental compliance with third-party contractors to meet local, state, and federal regulations. Assure adherence and assist in reducing environmental impact. Examine safety protocols to make sure they adhere to local laws, company policies, and specific requirements. Along with the Director of EHS, identify patterns and circumstances in periodic performance reports and notify the relevant management of any issues Assist US Compliance in making sure that all environmental regulations are met. Conduct the primary examination of significant mishaps, incidents, dangers, and near-misses. Suggest future preventive actions and see to it that they are carried out using problem-solving strategies. In charge of First Reports of Injury, OSHA logs, and collaborating with HR on Workers' Compensation claims at the Sartell site. Examine new machinery, goods, and procedures for possible risks and suggest changes before introducing them. Collaborate with managers and team members to recognize and address possible health and safety risks. Together with the line staff, create safe standard work procedures. Safety and housekeeping inspections will be used to ensure compliance. Provide input to plant engineers so they may help apply engineering controls to reduce risks to worker health and safety. To guarantee the right process layout and tooling, conduct ergonomics studies. During an occurrence, assume the role of Emergency Response Coordinator, overseeing emergency protocols and assembling emergency units. In order to use the safety LMS system, collaborate with the operations team. Share the upcoming annual training requirements, gaps, and trends. Supporter of the Code Blue procedure and coordinator at the Sartell, Minnesota site After the root cause analysis is finished, make sure that the Safety Accountability Policy is upheld through accountability and investigation.
