Responsibilities
• Prepare Investigative Plans and document requests• Acquire and analyze documentary and testimonial evidence• Conduct telephonic interviews or prepare affidavits• Prepare detailed, grammatically correct reports of investigation and case files• Submit weekly status reports• Assist with processing informal EEO complaints, formal EEO complaints, anti-harassment complaints• Explain the discrimination complaint process for an EEO complaint• Advise the complainant of their rights and responsibilities in the complaint process• Research applicable EEO case law, precedents, reports of investigation, and EEOC decisions• Gather documents and relevant information for EEO case files• Prepare case files for administrative reviews/judicial proceedings• Identify/interview witnesses of an alleged EEO violation
Requirements
• Private home office space with a computer, phone, internet, printer, and scanner• Advanced to expert ability in utilizing Microsoft and Adobe Acrobat• Certified EEO Investigator with annual refresher• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Excellent time management skills• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal to no supervision• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality• Knowledge of Title VII, EEOC MD-110, and 29 CFR 1614• Minimum 3 years of investigative experience• Candidates must be a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident• Candidates must be able to pass a background investigation
