Educator Registered Nurse / Rn Education

Title: Educator Registered Nurse / RN Education Responsibilities: Assist with regulatory body inspections as needed Provide ongoing support for Orientation opportunities as needed, including, but not limited to group/1-1 instruction, proctoring testing, hands-on clinical instruction Provide remediation for clinical employees as needed Provide ongoing clinical support for staff use of Electronic Medical Record, in conjunction with Information Technology Department Maintain superior clinical skills in the dialysis setting and provide hands-on clinical support in clinics as assigned by Director of Education and Training Collaborate with Director of Nursing to develop and facilitate the orientation process of all new nurses. A minimum of two years in a long term care facility, one year of which has been in a nursing supervisor capacity preferred The ability to coordinate and communicate in a multidisciplinary setting Demonstrated competency to teach adult learners Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred: minimum of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (RN) Must possess current valid license as a registered nurse in the state of New York 2-5 years' experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting Preferred experience teaching adult learners Must possess valid basic life support (BLS) certification Strong oral /written communication skills and interpersonal skills Excellent presentation skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
