Job Title:       Educational Site Leader I Job Status:  Part-time, up to 20 hours per week Program Summary: ACCESS recognizes the challenge that many students face in reaching proficiency levels in core subject areas (English and math); that is why the Out of School Time program can provide students with the foundational skills needed to succeed in school, post-secondary, and in the workforce. This year-round STEM-focused program (32 weeks in the school year; 6 weeks in the summer) reinforces academic skills focusing on reading and math, encourages critical thinking, helps students discover/build new interests, and promotes healthy living. Low student-to-staff ratios ensure personalized learning, and youth development activities address students' social emotional learning needs. Students receive a daily hot nutritious meal. Parents/caregivers are offered free literacy and parenting education classes. 
Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the Educational Site Leader I uses skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide a safe learning environment designed to engage students in academic, recreation and enrichment activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Program Supervisor on all day-to-day operations of one or multiple 21st Century CLC program sitesIdentify students who meet program participation criteria with principal/school facultyDesign stimulating enrichment after school activities to build core academic skills, confidence and life skills with after school program staffMonitor, mentor, coach and evaluate site staff to ensure the quality of program content and deliveryGather student data in order to locate areas where improvement is needed mostCollaborate with school staff on best methods of analyzing data collected for the direction of program activitiesWork with the Program Supervisor to lead and participate in professional development in academic best practicesManage site record-keeping requirements, which include, but are not limited to EZ Reports Database, Michigan Department of Human Services Licensing Rules for Child Care Centers and United States Department of Agriculture reporting requirements: attendance, student information, sessions/activities/events, student grades and goalsRecord-keeping tasks as assigned by the Program Supervisor (learner's profiles, template of academic data, site staffing plan etc.).Meet with principal and program staff about student achievement in relation to program designsCommunicate site information to necessary team membersProduce periodic reports reflecting program implementation and dataServe as liaison between the school-day and after-school programCommunicate regularly with day-time staff (teachers, social workers and administration) to track student progress and design interventionsRequired to serve on a program committeeOperate standard office equipment and use required software applicationsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of:

Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human ResourcesLicenses/Certifications: Licenses/Certifications Required at Date of Hire:Teaching certification preferredTraining Requirements16 clock hours of training throughout the yearBlood borne pathogensCPR/First AidWorking Conditions: Hours:  Generally, 10am-6pm, but may vary due to school day dismissal time
