Educamp Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: The EDUcamp Coordinator for BJU, Inc. will lead and execute the EDUcamp Program including BASEcamp, EDUcamp Jr. and EDUcamp Proper, as well as partner and coordinate with BJA on various projects and with the BJU Athletic Department to implement Bruins Sports Camps. The coordinator's primary focus will be on growing and strengthening the BJU, Inc. EDUcamp summer program in a sustainable and profitable manner. The coordinator will coordinate marketing and recruiting efforts required for the efficient operation of the EDUcamp events and programs, perform diversified and advanced organizational duties, and work with the EDUcamp team of camp directors and support staff to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all EDUcamp programmingCoordinate with EDUcamp directors and support personnelCoordinate hiring of necessary staff with Human Resources according to staffing policiesResearch market needs for growing BJU summer educational programsOversee development of programs along with educational directorsCommunicate with marketing about project timelines and campaignsImplement BJU leadership's vision for EDUcampsCoach staff and provide trainingPartner with BJA and Bruins Athletics to accomplish objectivesComplete additional tasks for EDUcamp and BJA as assignedEnsure the business model for EDUcamp is sustainable and profitableREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to take initiative and implement a visionPassion to develop K-12 student potentialTeam player; collaborativeAbility to delegate and motivatePrevious experience working with students as well as experience working on staff at a camp preferred.#LI-Onsite
