Job Summary:
Under general direction, with the Business Manager, the Early Learning Program Lead will be responsible for program development and implementation of the Foundation's comprehensive Early Learning Outreach program; works with local daycares, Edmonds School District staff, and parents and families.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Outreach to in-home care providers, daycares, preschools, early learning co-ops, head-start, and other providers.
· Develop positive, collaborative relationships with providers and district staff.
· Become familiar with, and provide, play kits filled with math games and manipulatives and learn and play instructions.
· Coordinate and lead monthly professional training courses and consultation designed around professional development for early learning providers, e.g. how to watch for early tracking, vision screenings, etc.
· Alignment of curriculum, ensuring providers and children are on track for kindergarten readiness, meeting measurable goals.
· Clear and effective outcome reporting and obtaining valuable feedback from providers.
· Co-ordinate volunteers for outreach event help
· Assist in creating an effective communications plan for outreach, relationship building, and resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience
Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to completion of bachelor's degree, an associate degree or technical experience (psychology, sociology, early learning, education, social work, or other preferred). General knowledge of program management. Supervisory experience. Experience with public outreach.

· Multi-task, develop and implement project plans, management multiple concurrent projects

· Ability to work both independently and as a team member, and with a variety of individuals of all age ranges

· Utilize Office, Windows, Google Docs based computer applications and databases
Other Characteristics: Washington's driver's license; must provide proof of auto insurance; willingness to travel for meetings and conferences (mileage/travel expenses reimbursed); willingness to work extra hours (if required).

Pay: $21.73 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
