Responsibilities
• Lays out reference lines and points for framing• Installs metal or studs for wallboard attachment• Maintains a clean work area• Measures and marks cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim• Identifies exact locations for windows, electrical outlets, and plumbing• Cuts drywall to fit precise size• Fastens drywall panels to interior wall studs• Fills joints, holes, and cracks with compound• Trims and smooths rough edges of boards• Mixes compound to desired consistency• Cleans and prepares surfaces for applications of materials
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)• Drywall Experience (required)

• Basic hand and power tool skills• Ability to read and use measuring tools• Ability to work and communicate with others• Ability to analyze information and evaluate problems• Ability to work at heights• Ability to follow safety policies• Willingness to travel
