Drafts Person - Jn

Our client is a locally owned and operated company specialising in 3rd party equipment for the mining and transport industries. They are seeking a Drafts Person to join their team.

Key responsibilities include

The development and upkeep of all manufactured item drawings and identifying and developing improvement to drafting processes and standards and all related computeraided drawing activities
Sourcing correct parts from suppliers
Working across the organisation with the primary focus on supporting and providing for the needs of the production assembly team
Requirements Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
Handson experience with computeraided design (CAD) software
Familiarity with 3D modelling tools
Good mathematical skills
Advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Suite and internal based applications
A valid C Class Drivers Licence
Desirable Requirements

Australian recognised qualification in Drafting or CAD Design
Previous experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System ie Greentree or Inventory Management system.
