Drafting Designer I

The Designer typically completes projects and designs involving Overhead and Underground scope. This is a beginning-level position for Designer. The position will have supervision and guidance but will also require a self-driven individual who can manage workload independently after training.

Must possess high levels of computer knowledge MS Programs Adobe PDF The Preferred Knowledge of OH/UG Design Knowledge of Utility Design Fast learner Team player Required Drafting experience (1 year minimum) Experience with AutoCAD &/or equivalent drafting systems You should know This position is remote but may require in office meetings per supervisor request Candidates must be comfortable working full time 40 hours per week Duties and Responsibilities SAFETY, SAFTEY, SAFTEY! Always maintain a safe working environment including on site in office and out in the field via an ever-changing environment Prepare scaled work order maps using AutoCAD and AUD (Autodesk Utility Design) Utilize customer standards to deliver, develop, and implement cost effective designs. Maintain effective communication with peers to help facilitate larger customer driven jobs. Work in a time efficient manner to adhere to company driven benchmarks to avoid construction delays.
