Responsibilities
• Develop layout and plan sequence of operations• Handle aluminum extrusions and perform fabrication and assembly• Set up and operate fabricating machines• Cut, bend, and straighten metal using saws, hammers, and grinders• Drill holes and fasten materials together using screws• Assemble fabricated frames per architectural drawing• Install advanced hardware like locks and hinges• Perform quality control checks during assembly• Ensure safety of self and others• Lead a team (preferred)
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent• 8-10 years of related experience with hardware, fabrication, and/or training (preferred)• Carpentry/millwork experience (preferred)• Experience with multiple hand and power tools including saws• Ability to read architectural blueprints, drawings, and specifications• Knowledge of basic math skills and ruler measurements• Ability to meet attendance requirements, including overtime• Attention to detail and time management skills• Ability to work independently or within a team
