Responsibilities
• Greet donors and unload donations from vehicles• Evaluate and sort donations• Maintain accurate tallies and loading checklists• Maintain a clean and safe work environment• Dispose of garbage and process recyclable material• Contribute to customer satisfaction• Demonstrate safe work practices• Optional forklift operation• Maintain reliable attendance• Other assigned duties
Requirements
• No previous experience or education required• Ability to read, speak, and write English• Basic math skills• Ability to work with a diverse team• Forklift certification optional• Ability to use a mobile phone• Physical ability to lift up to 40-60 pounds• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Various physical movements and abilities• Effective communication skills• Organizational, problem-solving, and recording abilities• Flexibility for a varying work schedule• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment• Must meet eligibility requirements for forklift operation
