Objective: Establish, coordinate, and implement a community donations strategy that yields quality donated goods and brings awareness to Goodwill's mission. Cultivates partnerships in our Mid-Michigan communities for acquisition of donated goods with a focus on partnerships that would include city officials, corporations, schools, youth groups, realtors, faith organizations, neighborhood associations and sports teams. Achieve strong community relationships through external donation acquisition strategies, special events, and promotional opportunities. Establish a strategy to acquire high-quality donations for e-commerce. Provide frequent communication to the VP of Retail Operations on planning activities and metric-driven results. Demonstrate skill in planning and coordinating events; communicates clearly. Meet or exceed annual donation goals. Monitors goals throughout the year. Position Requirments: Minimum two years of successful project management, event planning or marketing experience. Ability to interact professionally with community members and customers at all levels both internal and external to GWIMM. Experience collaborating with and/or building relationships within the community. High School Diploma required. Driver's License required. Excellent communication skills. High degree of motivation and self-direction to achieve goals. High level of organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field equivalent preferred.
