Our interns will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and senior leaders to support our business priorities. Being able to work in a group environment is key. As part of the DEI team, the DEI Intern will assist in diverse inclusion efforts, guided by the Head of DEI. Their role involves fostering an inclusive workplace and aiding in programs to enhance employee engagement.What you'll do:Learning does not only happen in the virtual or actual classroom! Frontier's Intern Program provides you with an opportunity to experience the Fiber Tech industry up close. By applying your education to a real-life working environment, you create a foundation of experiences that help further classroom concepts.Support DEI programs by assisting with setup, cleanup, and engagement activities.Collaborate on crafting inclusive language for veteran-focused job descriptions.Contribute to Broadband For Good initiatives and EIG partnerships by identifying organizations and planning activation events.Organize and host intern-only events to foster camaraderie and engagement.Assist with data entry and PowerPoint creation for DEI reports and presentations.What you'll need:Currently enrolled in an accredited university program and is currently a sophomore, junior, or 1st year graduate studentPursuing a related degree. Specifically, Sociology, Psychology, Human Resources, Business or Organizational DevelopmentStrong academic achievements and minimum GPA of 3.2 or above preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in teams and individuallyStrong work ethic and attention to detailWhat we offer:Currently enrolled in an accredited university program and is currently a sophomore, junior, or 1st year graduate studentPractical experience with a variety of technology applicationsCollaborating hand-in-hand with skilled teams, mentors, leaders, and other program participantsShadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with seasoned professionalsOpportunity to participate in networking events, and company meetings and an opportunity to give back to the communityInternships will run 10 weeks between June – August 2024Competitive compensationFrontier salaries estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
