Job Description The dispatcher is the lifeline to our delivery and fulfillment teams. This person will work to prioritize trucking and shipping routes to all Dunn Lumber locations. They regularly communicate with drivers about workflow and any relevant changes and stay up to date on the latest regulations regarding trucking and the Department of Transportation.
Qualifications Qualifications include: Communicating workflow and workflow changes to drivers. Optimizing driver routes to maximize trucking efficiency. Maintain a current understanding of both trucking and the Department of Transportation regulations. Monitor logistics and data reporting. Communicating with leadership teams, sales teams, and other Dunn Lumber departments to solve dispatch related issues.
