OnWay Transport is looking for a Dispatcher to join our team at our Roseville, Michigan office. (No selling, Recruiters provide all Drivers). Our Dispatchers work (3) 12-hour days a week and rotate a 4th day every other week. Doesn't that sound great?
You must be computer savvy and have an overall passion to learn. Our Dispatchers use high tech dispatching and GPS mapping software, all in one. We dispatch our drivers to medical facilities, hospitals and pharmacies in 14 states. We are looking for someone that has great customer service, a driven disposition, understanding of urgency, dispatching experience, can work well individually or in a team environment. We offer hands-on extensive training and mentoring. Family owned and ran company! Great work Culture! Schedule: 9am-9pm (Day shift). Our Dispatchers work three (3) 12-hour days a week and work a 4th day every other week. Responsibilities: Client Order Entry. Hands on system dispatching (We will train). Dispatching Drivers. Track and Trace Drivers. Problem Solving . Scheduling Pickups/Deliveries. Mapping out Routes. Monitoring TMS systems. Auditing orders. Qualifications: 1-2 Years minimal experience Dispatching Drivers. (Courier and/or Final Mile experience is highly desired). 1-2 Years experience using Dispatch or TMS software. 3-4 Years of top-notch customer service experience. Technology Savvy and stays abreast of new technology. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required. Must have positive attitude and have the ability to handle stressful situations. Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills.
