A premiere full-service HVAC company in the Middle Tennessee area is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team in Murfreesboro. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting the smooth operation of the HVAC service department.
Job Duties: Receiving Service Requests: They receive service requests from customers, either by phone, email, or through an online system. Scheduling Technicians: They assign HVAC technicians to service calls based on factors such as location, availability, and expertise. They must ensure that technicians are appropriately matched with the requirements of each service call. Maintaining Schedules: They maintain and update schedules for technicians, ensuring that appointments are properly coordinated and that there are no overlaps or gaps in coverage. Dispatching Technicians: They communicate job details, including the location, time, and nature of the service call, to the assigned technicians. They may also provide any relevant information or instructions needed for the job. Monitoring Progress: They track the progress of service calls and keep customers informed about any delays or changes to their appointments. They may also follow up with technicians to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner. Handling Emergencies: In the case of emergencies or urgent service requests, they prioritize and dispatch technicians accordingly, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly. Customer Communication: They serve as a point of contact for customers, answering inquiries, providing updates on service status, and addressing any concerns or complaints. Coordinating with Other Departments: They may collaborate with other departments within the company, such as sales or billing, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Data Entry and Documentation: They accurately record details of service calls, including customer information, job descriptions, and technician notes, in the company's database or management system. Requirements :
Sharp attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining an I can attitude Committed to providing customers with the highest quality products and unmatched service. Must be well versed in Mid Tennessee roadways and city locations. Knowledge of HVAC industry is required (at least 1 year). Customer service experience (at least 2 years) Dispatch experience (at least 1 year) Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Occasional overtime Pay:
$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr depending on experience
