We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Bryan, TX. This critical role involves providing exceptional delivery service to our customers with a strong focus on attention to detail, timeliness, and professionalism. We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated individual who is highly motivated and a team player, possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive demeanor.
Responsibilities: Communicate with the sales team to gather daily trucking demands and promptly notify them of any issues or concerns that may arise during the day. Ensure drivers receive accurate addresses and delivery instructions, while also coordinating with truck owners/operators to provide necessary updates or re-tasking requests. Monitor job progress to ensure timely fulfillment of customer demands while prioritizing safety and efficiency, and proactively communicate with customers in the event of any delays or late deliveries. Requirements: High school diploma. Prefer 2 years of dispatch experience, but not required. The company will train the right candidate. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required. Must be computer literate and have strong communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Must be accessible by phone and email after hours Please note this is a salaried position and the range is based on experience and skills.
