General Description: Responsible for overall cleanliness and organizing all kitchen and Front of House dishware, cookware, utensils, and cutlery.
Operations: Completes opening and closing side work checklist for shift daily Maintains cleanliness of all storage areas: dry storage, walk-in cooler, freezers, paper good storage, chemical storage, beverage storage, locker room, and any other storage areas Maintains cleanliness of kitchen areas by emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, etc. throughout service Disposes of all trash, cardboard, etc. as needed throughout shift; Empty trash cans from all kitchen and service areas throughout the shift Verify all product orders upon delivery, including cross-checking amounts against purchase orders and invoices, and verifying quality of the product itself meets Company standards Inform General Manager of issues with product quality or discrepancies between purchase orders, delivery quantities and/or invoices Record and/or unpack all items received, following procedures specified by Manager on duty Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas Dispose of refuse in line with the company and site requirements and follow the correct procedure for using washing up equipment and to maintain all machinery and equipment appropriately in line with completed risk assessments and training Use of proper chemicals to clean and knowledge of the uses of such chemicals Maintains sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized Informs Manager on duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible Completes other duties as assigned by the management team

Essential Functions: The ability to speak, understand, read and write in English The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction The ability to understand basic math The ability to work independently or as part of a team The ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis The ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day Adaptable in fast-paced and challenging work environment Organized approach to projects Able to take and give direction Able to approach their work with a sense of ownership and work with a sense of urgency Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire team members to meet and exceed standards Polished personal presentation; grooming meets Company standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook Communicates information effectively and efficiently Maintains general knowledge of the location, transportation, management team, etc. Ability to utilize traditional software programs such as Gmail, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and any additional systems as needed; Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system Participate in community events and ensure corporate social responsibility goals of Company are met Ensure that all staff are compliant with Company's policies and procedures, as well as city, state and federal laws Attend mandatory meetings including staff meetings, leadership meetings, etc. Maintains knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies
