JOB SUMMARYClean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.Operate and clean dishwashing machine.Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.Sweep or scrub floors, wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, etc.Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.Prepare and package individual place settings.Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.Receive and store supplies.Clean garbage cans with water or steam.Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.Assists cooks in completing opening and closing duties as assigned to standards using established checklists.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
