Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team• Work with product managers to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios• Continuously improve software engineering practices• Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions• Stay on top of tech trends, learn new technologies, and mentor other engineers• Encourage innovation, diversity, self-organization, and teamwork• Improve the velocity of your team and deploy new applications into AWS environments• Break existing applications into microservice architectures and build new microservices
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field• 10 years of experience in software and/or data engineering• 5 years of experience in people management• 5 years of experience building distributed applications on AWS cloud• 5 years of full stack engineering experience
