About You: We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Operations to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency within our Sales organization. The Director of Revenue Operations will oversee key areas such as Salesforce.com (SFDC) hygiene, sales pipeline reporting, forecasting, territory management, and compensation plans.
Responsibilities: Ensure SFDC hygiene by implementing best practices and maintaining data accuracy and integrity, working collaboratively with the team responsible for managing Airship's Sales and Marketing tech stack. Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to develop and maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting, providing insights into pipeline health and conversion metrics. Partner with Sales leadership on forecasting processes, leveraging data and insights to drive accuracy and reliability. Lead territory management efforts, optimizing territory assignments to maximize revenue opportunities. Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans that align with business objectives and drive desired sales behaviors. Develop a deep understanding of demand generation pipeline and efficiency metrics to optimize sales processes and drive revenue growth. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 7-12 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales, or management consulting, preferably within the Enterprise Software industry. Demonstrated experience using Salesforce.com and other systems, with exposure to C-level executives. Education: Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Math (quantitative-based). An MBA is preferred. Skillset: Strong understanding of sales processes and financial efficiency metrics. Ability to generate insights from data and translate them into strategic initiatives. Proficient in creating insightful reports. Personality Traits: Quantitative with excellent communication skills. Holds people accountable and acts as a truth-teller. Compensation at Airship
Airship's compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, experience ladders, and geographical location. The starting salary range for this position is $154,500 - $175,000 per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, competitive equity packages, and other performance incentives. In addition, we also provide an extensive suite of benefits as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
