Summary Description:
As the Director of Perioperative Services, reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and indirectly to the Administrative Director of Nursing Specialty - Perioperative Services, you will lead and oversee all aspects of perioperative operations. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic decision-making, policy development, equipment standardization, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including those set by the Joint Commission.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage perioperative services, including programmatic responsibilities in Nursing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and developing and implementing policies and procedures. Approve procedures/protocols, oversee personnel actions, develop budgets, and monitor performance, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and DMC policies. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement goals, assess performance, and monitor activities for compliance. Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration, or related field, with one degree in Nursing. Seven years of progressively responsible clinical and/or management experience. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Analytical, communication, interpersonal, project management, and leadership skills required.
