We are looking for aDirector of UXto join the Reddit UX organization. As a UX Director you will define a cohesive visual strategy across visual UI elements, iconography, illustrations/imagery and motion design that aligns with Reddit's brand identity, elevate the quality and efficiency of the entire org by enhancing design systems, and lead new exciting product efforts that expand new types of user journeys. You will partner with ENG, PM, UX research and other design teams to deliver UX strategy that significantly improves product experiences. Foster creativity and collaboration both inside and out of your area of ownership.Execute at every stage of the design lifecycle from concept to delivery.Contribute to design thinking at the company, resulting in tangible improvements across our portfolio of products – as well as to how we approach and solve user problems.Drive change through user insight – resulting in improvements to the Reddit experience.Build consensus across diverse teams through user-centric solutions and effective communication.Effectively communicate and present solutions to user problems across the organization and senior executives, as well as to large groups of end users.Own quality of user experience for your area.Qualifications:13+ years of relevant design experience.
