Responsibilities
• Developing relationships with investor-owned utilities• Achieving Authorized Vendor status on utility Authorized Vendor Lists• Periodically visiting key decision makers within target utilities• Working with BD/Marketing analyst to identify new utility RFPs• Teaming with operations management to expand offerings to the client• Assisting in proposal strategy and approach development• Scoping proposals and assisting in key proposal preparation• Participating in executive reviews• Leading the effort to obtain debriefs• Leading internal client teams
Requirements
• BA in Engineering, Science, or Business Management preferred; Graduate degree a plus• 10+ years of relevant experience in a utility setting• Possession of good relationships with clients in the Utility Market Sector• Willingness to travel up to 25%• Personable, with very strong communication skills• Desire to lead an aggressive business expansion• Strong Client Facing Business Development experience• Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities• Ability to grow and maintain relationships with any individual
