POSITION SUMMARY Elmington is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to partner closely with the human resources and employee experience departments. This person is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for professional positions within the organization across various levels of seniority. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen eye for talent, and a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices in recruitment, including leveraging technology and automations. Someone who has the drive to excel, bring in top-tier talent, and manage their team to efficiently maintain talent pipelines while keeping to deadlines while creating efficient processes to meet the needs of a scaling organization will succeed in this role! In addition this person will be building and managing a team consisting of a talent acquisition specialists.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with employees, peers, and candidates.
Confidence in communicating expectations, timelines, and priorities both internally and externally

Computer software experience including ATS, LinkedIn, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and related
Ability to multi-task and maintain a a talent pipeline
Balance speed and quality with a focus on exceptional results
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead Talent acquisition strategy across the organization, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure our brand is well represented
Manage the open positions report for designated companies ensuring that all open positions are nurtured throught the talent acquisition cycle
Conduct weekly team and direct report meetings, aligning team members to organization goals and KPIs. Coach and mentor team to develop their skillset to meet organizational demands as we scale.
Develop and update talent acquisition processes to align to best practices
Provide detailed reports and data for leadership, while using data to make organizational recommendations. Analyze recruitment metrics and reports findings to senior management.
Measures the ROI of talent acquisition programs and activities.
Ensure that priority positions and "Hot fills" are given the highest priority and filled in an expedited manner
Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to understand workforce needs, building predictive hiring models in order to anticipate future hiring requirements.
Utilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms, to attract top talent. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Enhance the organization's employer brand through engaging job postings, compelling messaging, and positive candidate experiences. Develop relationships with universities, professional associations, and other talent pools to attract high-quality candidates.
Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and priorities. Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, including interview training and candidate evaluation.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR business partners, and senior leadership, to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract a diverse pool of candidates and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure individual and team success.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for recruiters, regularly monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
Manages budget and forecast for all talent acquisition programs.
All other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven 10+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition leadership, with a focus on professional positions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Experience with recruiting construction and/or property management candidates preferred; but not required.
Experience using Efficient Apply, Efficient Hire, iSolved, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor systems a plus!

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
