OASYS, INC. , a Leading Edge Small-Business Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Director of Tactical Business Development position to support the Growth Office with achieving our tactical growth initiatives.
Job responsibilities include: Actively contribute to OASYS' growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining and managing a business development pipeline and ensuring clear visibility of potential opportunities and progress.
Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships by leveraging company capabilities to expand local and national DoD market penetration.
Increase revenue and market share through assigned and newly generated DoD or commercial pipeline targets.
Contact and meet with prospective customers to establish customer requirements, buying trends, and establish OASYS as a trusted partner and technical solution provider.
Prepare and present corporate capabilities information and gather information from customers on potential technical engagement opportunities.
Experience negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Subcontract Agreements.
Research industry trends and collect market intelligence on clients and competitors by monitoring websites, collateral presentations, trade journals, and attending industry events.
Facilitate partner collaborations including teaming negotiations and/or strategic alliances with potential partners to strengthen OASYS' position in the DoD market.
Attending industry events for networking and relationship building.
Participate in committees or other active roles in external industry-related organizations.
Build, implement, and maintain capture plans for target clients.
Minimum Requirements: BA/BS or equivalent experience and 3-10 years prior relevant Sales, Business Development, or Project Management experience.
Excellent communications skills - demonstrated through written and oral presentations.
Ability to think tactically and strategically.
Possess analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with online tools such as SalesForce, GovWin, or Bloomberg Government used by the Federal Government Contractor to track solicitations.
Demonstrated skills in business development including opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer visits and demonstrations, customer relationship development, relationship development with potential teammates or competitors, written submissions (market surveys, RFI responses, support to proposals), etc.
Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.
Experience in identifying and qualifying business development opportunities in the DoD or Federal market with an emphasis on opportunity qualification.
Proven record of success developing opportunities within the DoD market.
Required Education: Candidates must possess a BA/BS and 3-10 years prior relevant Sales, Business Development, or Project Management experience.
Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
