PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for leading and evolving the strategy and sustainability of initiatives related to the Stars Part D domain (PDE measures) for Cigna Medicare. This position is responsible for leading the team that executes on initiatives related to Stars Part D to improve Star rating results for both standalone PDP (S contract) and MAPD (H contract) plans. Serving as an operational leader in internal processes, prioritize initiatives that maximize the overall strategy for Stars performance by H and S contract for maximization of results. Provide strategic leadership for Part D measures for cross functional teams within Cigna Medicare, vendors, and the PBM. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Oversight of all measures and KPIs related to Part D to ensure H and S contract level execution for overall Star strategy within these domains Establish appropriate strategy and execute against defined initiatives specific to Part D domain measures to maintain Star ratings above 3.0 Stars for PDP and contract level goals for MAPD for each rating year Collaborate with Stars Analytics and other Stars domain leads to regularly report to PDP and MAPD plan leadership on leading indicators and Star rating projections for all open Star rating years Maintain and build sustainable and efficient processes with related teams of Part D to ensure the ongoing success of initiatives in collaboration with matrix partners and strategy within respective domains Strategically evaluate available internal initiatives and assist in prioritization of appropriate levers to pull to meet contract-level goals within domains Assist in the development in short term and long term mitigation plans for Part D based on knowledge of existing interventions and develop new interventions based upon knowledge of program alignment Serve as strategy lead in relation to available Stars and matrix partner teams to prioritize interventions including but not limited to pharmacy interventions, incentive programs, prioritized member outreach, and prioritized provider outreach Lead in determination and implementation of vendor support in relation to Part D initiatives Seek to actively understand current processes to drive innovations for sustainable and scalable enhancements Provide mentorship and guidance direct reports and matrix partners teams to allow for growth and sustainable improvement across the domains Host regular cadence touch points with direct team and leadership to promote transparency and project progress Share metrics and performance with business leaders, identifying key opportunities or process changes required at measure and KPI initiative level Partner with specialists to develop proposed actions based on analysis from subject matter experts in products payer reports The ongoing education of industry and project management techniques to grow and evolve the team to best incorporate into the business units Summary of Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 10 years of management experience preferred Medicare Stars knowledge; specifically Part D measures required Knowledge of payer and PBM interactions and how to collaborate for Star's success Proven ability to leverage data to inform business decisions Preferred experience in implementing and building teams along, strong people leader Project management and organizational excellence Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver presentations to managers and clinicians and executive leadership Ability to influence without authority to rally matrix partners towards a common goal

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 141,500 - 235,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
