Director of Hospice Sales Training & Marketing A Great Opportunity / Full Time The Director of Hospice Sales Training & Marketing is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to the hospice sales team. This position plays a critical role in equipping sales representatives with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively engage with referral sources and patients/families to promote hospice services. The Hospice Sales Trainer works closely with the sales leadership team to design and implement training initiatives that align with the organization's sales and marketing strategies. This role will utilize a blended approach, providing in-person, virtual, and telephone-based training, and will integrate Trella data with the organization's Salesforce CRM system.
Key Responsibilities: Assess the training needs of the hospice sales team and develop customized training curricula to address skill gaps and enhance sales performance. Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions covering topics such as hospice philosophy, eligibility criteria, reimbursement, effective sales techniques, objection handling, and regulatory compliance. Training can be provided in-person, virtually, or through recorded sessions. Create and maintain a library of training resources, including presentations, role-play scenarios, case studies, and job aids, and ensure they are available through various delivery methods. Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives, both in the field and remotely, to reinforce training concepts and ensure successful application. Monitor and analyze sales team performance data, including Trella data, to identify areas for improvement and tailor training accordingly. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales training with promotional materials and messaging, and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints. Integrate Trella data with the organization's Salesforce CRM system to provide sales representatives with real-time insights and enhance their ability to effectively engage with referral sources and patients/families. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in hospice sales and training to continuously enhance the program. Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills. Measure the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvements based on feedback and outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospice or healthcare sales, with a proven track record of success Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training through various modalities Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and the ability to design and deliver engaging training programs Strong understanding of the hospice industry, including regulatory requirements, reimbursement, and best practices Proficient in using training technologies and platforms, as well as Salesforce CRM and Trella data integration Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Willingness to travel to support in-person training delivery at various locations What ViaQuest can offer you: Paid training Benefit package for full-time employees (including medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance and a 401k Employee discount program Paid time off Employee referral bonus program About ViaQuest Hospice
