**Job Summary:**
This is a remote role within a specific region, requiring travel.
As the Director of Sales, you will lead our sales initiatives, setting policies, objectives, and strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial goals. You'll oversee sales operations, develop tactical plans, and implement processes to execute district-level sales strategies effectively.
**Education and/or Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (7+ years).
- Proven track record in direct sales and sales management (Value-Added Reseller experience preferred).
- Strong business acumen, sales expertise, and financial proficiency.
- Experience engaging with senior-level executives (VP level or higher).
- Deep understanding of the technology landscape, OEM solutions, and VAR channel programs.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Demonstrated success in sales and sales management.
- Proficient in forecasting and driving quarterly/annual results.
- Excellent recruiting skills and extensive market relationships.
- Background in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management.
- Ability to cultivate territories and expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing complex business challenges with technology solutions.
- Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement initiatives, processes, and tools to support sales operations.
- Set departmental and group-level sales goals, utilizing data and technology for monitoring and enhancement.
- Analyze industry trends, client needs, and competitor strategies to drive business expansion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and propose new solutions or products.
- Build and mentor effective sales and support teams through recruiting and development programs.
- Participate in strategic high-value sales negotiations.
- Manage departmental budget and devise strategies to meet strategic sales goals.
- Acquire, retain, and grow targeted accounts through relationship building and consultative selling.
- Expand existing business through a full range of products and services.
- Support local and national marketing initiatives.
- Assess client business issues and recommend appropriate training and development solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team growth goals.
- Meet all quota and activity levels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in selling techniques, market understanding, account development, and networking.
- Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Stay updated on Mainline's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:**
- Work in a typical business or home office environment.
- Utilize general office and personal computer equipment.
- Travel may be required via various means, including auto and air travel, frequently.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 85,000.00 120,000.00 Per Year
