SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Director is responsible for supporting the Vice President in the following areas:
Promotes Open Door Mission ministry standards and culture, representing the VP in his/or her absence with staff, team or community meetings. Develops and implements case management standards across agency program departments in accordance with accepted case management practice. Leads case review meetings on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with agency and grant standards regarding client and program documentation and operations. Oversees internal , online data tracking . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and administers agency standards in case management , including VI-SPDAT . S upport all program department managers in selection and training case managers. Providing coaching and/or counsel to the manager on case manager performance concerns , best practices, and steps for improvement on an as needed or required basis. Performs case review and regular supervision with team of case managers across agency on a bi-monthly basis . Provides feedback to department managers on case managers to address performance and/or training opportunities . Ensures compliance to program deliverables of agency grants across all program departments , providing monthly support to the VP Ensures adequate record keeping of all program and client documentation. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Ministry-minded, mature Christian with a passionate belief and commitment to "Restoring Hope and Changing Lives" Experience with marginalized groups is essential, with demonstrated ability to treat others as individuals created in the image of God deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect Strong degree of trustworthiness , able to maintain confidentiality Strong working knowledge of case management/social work standards Highly administrative, with strong attention to detail and prioritization Fully fluent in computer programs including Microsoft office suite and an understanding of client databases Current New York driver's license, driving record acceptable to insurance carrier MSW strongly preferred. Knowledge of HMIS and/or V-SPDAT required.
