The Role:
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this Product Marketing expert will work closely with our Product Marketing and Product Management leaders and CEO to elevate the narrative for Zscaler's products and solutions through delivery of strong PowerPoint slides that will span product and solution content, technical diagrams, customer case studies, competitive content, sales enablement materials and potentially vertical industry content.
The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of cybersecurity and networking market and technical understanding with excellent communication skills to convey key elements of our architecture, platform, and product differentiation through precise and compelling slides/documents, often using animation to illuminate key concepts.
Responsibilities:
Work with executive stakeholders to gather requirements for PowerPoint decks, ranging from customer-facing product and solution decks to competitive decks to sales enablement materials, vertical industry decks and more.
Work directly with our CEO to bring his vision to life in crisp and clear slides.
Interview customer executives to capture the elements of their success journeys and build the customers' keynote slides for events ranging from our user conference to numerous third-party events.
Leverage deep understanding of cyber security and networking technologies to tell a simple story that is compelling for all audiences.
Working with support from our creative team, you will define the content of these presentations from start to finish.
Qualifications:
Zscaler is seeking a strong product marketer, product manager, technical marketer or solutions engineer who is adept at communicating technical concepts in slides that provide a clear narrative arc and are straightforward to follow. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create slides for different audiences ranging from technical practitioners up to C-Level executives.
5+ years' experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or pre-sales in cyber security and/or networking.
Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity, networking/network security and SSE/SASE along with strong understanding of market and competitive landscape.
Demonstrable talent synthesizing complex technology topics into persuasive narratives and diagrams that enable customers to rapidly grasp our differentiators and value and enable sales teams to effectively communicate the same.
Strong knowledge of PowerPoint capabilities including animation, morphing, etc. would be a big plus
Executive presence. Will work with our CEO as well as customer CXOs.
