SDS Imports , the internationally recognized firearms manufacturer that provides high quality firearms at unrivaled value is looking to hire a Director of Product Management to join their growing team of individuals who are excited about bringing high quality firearms to the United States gun user.
If you have at least 5 years of experience leading the development of firearms product development teams and projects, we would like to hear from you. This is a senior leadership position reporting to the CEO. This position is based in Knoxville, TN.
This leader will be responsible for:
· Managing and enhancing the Product Road Map
· Improving upon the product development process
· Managing multiple product development projects across multiple vendors
· Acting as a liaison with our partners in Turkey
· Facilitating the creation and development of new products and product extensions
· Managing the development of new product technical specifications
· Developing and managing product launch plans
· Understand and manage import regulations and requirements
· Leading a team of product managers
· Manage product development budget
· Building a culture of innovation, teamwork and results
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
· At least 15 years of total experience
· At least 5 years leading product development teams
· At least 5 years of experience launching firearm products (requirement)
· Strong product development and product launch experience
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects; strong project management skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge and experience with modern design & development tools like Solidworks, AutoCAD, DFM, etc.
· Bachelor's degree ideally in an engineering or product related field
· Ability to travel internationally
