Director of Operations At Calyx Living , a Raleigh-based company in the business of building and operating assisted living communities, our team works together to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in North Carolina. Our locally owned and operated business has opened its first community, with the next two scheduled to open or under development, and is seeking to hire its first Director of Operations based out of the corporate office in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Director of Operations works with the corporate and regional team to oversee the opening and on-going operation of a regional group of Calyx's assisted living facilities to the high standards of quality, service, operating efficiency and financial performance set by the company.
Director of Operations Responsibilities Build, lead and manage high performing community-based teams. Ensure stable, timely day to day operations including staffing and service delivery that result in high resident and family satisfaction. Deliver community census and financial performance at the industry-leading levels expected by the company. Hold communities accountable to delivering clinical results and regulatory compliance. Routine, ongoing presence in the community. While the initial communities are focused in the Raleigh Durham market, outlying locations should be anticipated, with as much as 75% of a regional's time spent in communities, with the remainder in a local community or the corporate office. Minimum Qualifications: 3 years of Executive Director experience in senior living required. 1 to 2 years of experience working in multiple senior living communities in an operations support, training or troubleshooting capacity. Bachelor's Degree from a traditional in-person college or university. A licensed North Carolina administrator or the willingness and ability to get licensed within the first 6 months at the company. Ability and willingness to work fully in-person. COVID-19 vaccine and booster required.
