Introduction Senior level operations role that supports and partners with the Area President. The Operations Director has direct responsibility for supporting and directing operations efforts in multiple locations within the sub-region. Includes joint accountability for branch financial results, developing budget and non-sales strategic plan on behalf or in partnership with the Area President. Responsible for merger & acquisition onboarding to support the integration of new merger partners into the organization.

How you'll make an impact Relationships and Organizational LeadershipResponsible for the execution of divisional, regional, practice and branch projects as definedOversee internal communication and change management of the branch strategy, goals, performance and value propositionProfessional StandardsAccountable for training branch employees on BOSS standards: Business Continuity (BCP), Consulting Agreements, Records Retention Policy (RIMP), Revenue Disclosure Policy, Solvency and Third Party Vendor Review Process (TPV)Responsible for updating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans quarterlyRegularly review and update branch specific AM / Best Rating logOversee coordination of local office audits, e.g. corporate, divisional, third partyInvolved in E&O Tracking and ReportingCollection of local carrier supplemental compensation arrangement for Revenue DisclosuresBudget & FinanceCoordinate with GBS Finance and Area Presidents to create annual revenue and related client expense budget, compensation and operating expense budget, revenue and operating expense forecastsCoordinate with correct team to approve branch expenses, including T&E, vendor payables, etc, ensure timely client billings under consulting agreements and to research/resolve outstanding aged receivablesCoordinate with Area President on timely submission of locally received commission checks and statements to Finance.Coordinate with GBS Finance, Branch Managers and Producers to monitor monthly commissions and follow up on missing commissions with account teams and/or carriers.Achievement of Revenue and EBITDA goals, by driving adoption of recommended solutions with quantifiable ROIHuman ResourcesOnboard (mentor and train) new Operations team membersComplete forms for employee changes, staffing requisitions, online terminations, Benefits Upon Termination letters (operations roles)Verify all branch staff completes all corporate required training and manage invitations to New Hire and Manager HR 101 trainingInformation TechnologyAdministration of Document Management System (ongoing local), i.e. New Client Access, Check-in Docs, etc.Mergers and AcquisitionsWork with M&A leader to develop Integration team and project plan pre-close (Regional Ops)Assist in preparing merger due diligence reports incorporating compliance and technology findings (Regional Ops)Responsible for post integration triage with merger partners to resolve issues, work through earn-out issues, etc.FacilitiesLocation and Office Decisions, e.g. Lease AgreementsProject Management of actual office movesSales / Client RelationshipsParticipates in the development of Prospect & Client Event/Seminar Carrier Sponsorship Solicitation and CoordinationDevelopment of prospect and client event/seminar strategyParticipate in Client Annual Review (CAR) and identification of Most Important ClientsTracking of CAR Meetings in SalesforceManage annual divisional client experience survey, specifically identification of survey recipients About you Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience
PreferredPrior experience in a consultative role within the Health and Benefits brokerage industryPossess exceptional business acumen (to include understanding general business principles, finance, accounting and marketing strategies)Can manage/balance multiple priorities and prioritize through constant changeAbility to translate short-term business goals into team and individual performance goalsAbility to conduct performance management discussions #LI-AM3
