Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and experience in maintaining accreditation. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement processes, and evidence-based nursing practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement. Must meet physical requirements as stated on job description addendum.

As the Director of Nursing (DON), I am responsible for paving the way in delivering the highest standards of care, by launching this new service line with us at Plumas District Hospital! Throughout my journey to expand the organization and the services we provide to our community, I will successfully supervise all aspects of nursing services, ensuring adherence to regulations, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a collaborative environment among the healthcare team.

Compensation:
We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate the successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience. The compensation range is $59.75 - $85.19 / hour with a sign-on bonus of $10,000.00 and a housing stipend providing three months of paid housing or $1,200.00 / month housing stipend for the first three months of employment.
