Position Overview:
The Director of eCommerce will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of successful eCommerce strategies to drive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction. This role will work closely with other departments to ensure the proper integration of all eCommerce operations. The role also requires a strong understanding of technology and analytics to ensure the successful management of eCommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy across all platforms to maximize online sales and customer satisfaction. Lead the development of eCommerce projects with other departments to ensure the successful integration of eCommerce operations. Work with relevant teams to develop and optimize customer experience and engagement on eCommerce sites. Analyze and track eCommerce performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement processes to ensure accurate and timely product data management. Evaluate current eCommerce platforms and tools and recommend changes to optimize performance. Manage the eCommerce budget and related financial reporting. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or online retail. Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and tools. Experience with Shopify or similar platforms. Experience with a matrix organization a plus. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
