As the Pediatrics Director of Collections, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's collections department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the effective acquisition, preservation, and accessibility of our collections.

Responsibilities Minimum of 7 years of experience in collections management, including supervisory or managerial roles. In-depth knowledge of collection management best practices, including cataloging and digitization. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to collection management. Proficiency in collection management software and databases. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Qualifications Develop and implement collection policies and procedures to ensure the proper acquisition, preservation, and accessibility of the organization's collections. Lead and manage a team of collection professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest standards of collection management. Establish KPIs and benchmarks for the department Collaborate with other departments to identify collection needs and establish priorities for acquisition and deaccession. Direct and oversee the cataloging, documentation, and digitization of collections to enhance accessibility and facilitate research and education. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and other external stakeholders to secure payments. Develop and maintain a standardized approach to collecting patient responsibilities across all lines of business. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collection management and digitization, and implement relevant strategies. Develop and manage the collections budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for collection management, including repatriation requirements.
