Director of Business Development Location: Flexible (Can be based in any of our office locations)
About Us: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team. If you thrive on building relationships, creating opportunities, and driving growth in the construction industry, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, potential buyers, vendors, and industry peers through effective networking strategies. Develop and refine marketing plans to expand our presence in assigned markets. Collaborate with division leaders to establish marketing budgets and allocate resources across various promotional channels. Generate leads and prospects from diverse sources, prioritizing opportunities in alignment with our strategic objectives. Manage a network of referral sources to sustain a steady flow of business opportunities. Maintain accurate project development data in our CRM software. Assess client and project viability, guiding resource allocation and sales strategies for complex opportunities. Lead sales meetings and presentations to prospective clients. Oversee projects and client relationships from initial contact to contract execution. Coordinate proposal activities with internal teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications. Support forecasting, budgeting, and staffing efforts in collaboration with operations. Qualifications: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both individuals and groups. A proven track record of at least 10 years in market development within the construction industry. Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field. Valid driver's license. Additional Information: The Director of Business Development may be required to undertake additional duties as needed to achieve program goals or business objectives.
