Responsibilities
• Manage all owned, leased, and chartered aircraft• Stay updated on aviation trends and technological advancements• Ensure transparent communication regarding organizational changes• Hold the role of Accountable Executive in safety management• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies• Attract, recruit, and retain a skilled team• Direct aircraft scheduling and negotiate cost-effective contracts• Liaise with executive staff regarding flight schedules• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets• Direct departmental training activities and oversee facility compliance• Develop and administer operating policies and procedures• Represent the flight department in industry forums and groups
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification with multi-engine landing rating, First Class Medical Certification, FCC Radio License, and valid passport• 6,000 hours total flight time with 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command with 1,000 multi-engine jet PIC• Prior experience as a Chief Pilot/Corporate Jet Captain• Ability to pass FAA Class I physical examination• Bachelor's degree in aviation/business discipline preferred• Ten plus years of experience in managing aviation services• Experience in monitoring crew members' qualifications and flight standards
